What areas are located in the SanFernando Valley?
Areas such as Encino, Calabasas and Woodland Hills, it can help to know that there is plenty to choose from. Although you may not be right on top of the “scene,” as you would be if you lived on the east side, you are still close enough to enjoy Los Angeles without being right on top of it. Encino is a perfect example of a town that has a nice mix of city access and suburban charm. The population here is about 41,000 people, and there are about 3,800 businesses in town. Lake Balboa is nearby as well.
Calabasas is a city of about 23,000 people and it is considered the gateway to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. This can be a good area to search for a rental property if you enjoy spending time outdoors. Other places that you may want to look include Winnetka, Northridge, Chatsworth and Canoga Park, all located to the west of I-405. The west area in San Fernando Valley offers a different type of atmosphere than the east, but it can be a great choice if you don’t need to be right in the city center.
